About JACJ Services

JACJ Services is a partnership between Scott Christie and Scott Muller. We have worked together for over 20 years in many different aspects if IT. We first met while working at Charles Sturt University in 1993. Scott Christie was working in the networking area with responsibility for the network with a focus on the Universities PABX. Scott Muller was working in User Support and Help desk with additional responsibilities in programming and on the web team. Scott Christie eventually took over responsibility for the networks section on the Bathurst campus where Scott Muller joined him as part of a small team charges with looking after all facets of the Voice, Video and Data network. We were involved in the multi-million dollar ATM project which saw the creation of 34Mbps Wide area links from Sydney to Bathurst and on To Dubbo and Wagga Wagga and Albury/Thurgoona. We played a pivotal role in the Design, Installation and Management of the ATM/Ethernet LAN which included voice trunks between campuses, studio quality Video conference system and high speed LAN networking. Upon completion of this project Scott Christie held various roles in the IT department at CSU.

Scott Christie was employed by Compaq as a Network Sales Engineer. This position based in Sydney involved providing technical support to a Network sales team of 3 persons. Core responsibilities were the design and project management of “high end” network infrastructure projects for new and existing Compaq clients

Scott Muller left the university in the late 1990's to work for FORE system, later Marconi as a Pre and Post sales engineer. The breadth of knowledge and experience saw him sent to numerous overseas locations in this position to assist clients in the ASIA Pacific area.

We both eventually left our jobs in Sydney and returned to Bathurst and operated NetCommplete a Small Business IT consultancy company for many years. We once again found ourselves working in Sydney on a regular basis in an IT consultancy role for many of the companies and contacts we made while previously working in Sydney. Theses contacts are still strong today and allow us to gain unique insights into the operation of many IT focused businesses. This allows us to leverage that knowledge and those contacts, to offer clients a unique and valuable insight into a range of options for their business. Scott Muller was the Technical Manager at Netcommplete responsible for design implementation and support of numerous Thin Client and server based solutions to a client base ranging from 2-5 users to sites with 50+ users.

Integration of 3rd party applications to client IT services and support of client network LAN and WAN devices.

Due to unforeseen circumstances the NetCommplete had to close in 2007

Scott Christie worked at Country Energy as a Network Management Systems Specialist. The installation and configuration of CA Spectrum and integration with CA eHealth technologies to meet customer requirements, according to CA’s best practices guidelines, also providing technical support as needed, and resolving technical issues.
- Initially responsible for the design and implementation of Spectrum 8.1 Network Monitoring system for the entire Essential Energy Network (20,000 + devices)
- Management of distributed Spectrum NMS system containing 12 Windows 2003 servers Running CA Spectrum 9.2

Scott Muller continued to support some of the old NetCommplete clients as NetSolutions Central West until 2015.

Circumstances have happily bought about the opportunity to work together again. We have learnt a lot over the last few years, but our commitment to our families and clients is as strong as ever and we hope to use our knowledge, skills and unique perceptive to assist and enhance your business.
