Scott Muller
I have been involved in the IT industry for over 20 years working in many roles including for vendors supplying hardware; Working as a consultant supporting and guiding clients and well as being a client and purchasing hardware and software. This wide range of experience allows me to understand how the industry works and enables me to provide my clients with the best support and advice.
Starting work as a Mainframe operator for an Insurance Company in Sydney, I soon moved home to Bathurst and started work at Charles Sturt University. I initially worked in the computer center in client support. I then became involved in the web design team where I worked on the initial 'Look and Feel' for the CSU website. I then moved over to the Networks team where we looked after the Voice, Video and Data network for the Univeristy. After I left the University I worked for a Network Hardware Vendor called FORE System from the UNited States. I provided pre-sales and post-sales support to clients in the Asia Pacific area. This often invovled travel at short notices to places such as New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong and India. It was a fantasic learning experince but very draining! Together with Scott Christie who I worked with at CSU, we started an IT consultancy business called NetCommplete that provided System Integration Services for clients in Sydney and the Central West of NSW. Over time we reduced our workload in Sydney and concentrated our efforts in Bathurst and Surrounding areas. After the closure of NetCommplete I started NetSolutions Central West to continue to provide Consultany and Support services to clients in Central West.
